1. Make your offer as clean as possible:
Gone are the days where buyers could call the shots. A clean offer will have as few contingencies as possible. It will also have no seller concessions, such as assistance with closing costs.
2. Make your strongest offer:
In today’s market, we often have buyer’s ask: “is it really worth that much?” The answer is YES. The list price is no longer what a home is worth. Currently, buyer’s are dictating the value of a home through bidding wars. We have seen Pleasanton homes receive over 40 offers and go for $500K over asking price. We love this one, and it will make your offer stand out! An escalation clause means that your offer will outbid other offers up to a maximum price. This is a great way to put down your maximum offer amount without over paying.
